A Little Worse, a Little Better

Ok so this is the first ficlet I post. It's pretty short though.

Enjoy. :)

Title: A Little Worse, a Little Better
Rating: NC-17
Pairing: Degrassi: Spinner/Jay

Comments (if any): Story takes place soon after Spinner has been allowed back at Degrassi.

Disclaimer: They don't belong to me. If they did, Degrassi wouldn't be rated PG.

A Little Worse, a Little Better

It had been a fucking shitty day. Even after three weeks, everyone still treated him like a pariah. Spinner hadn’t expected his return to Degrassi to be a party or anything, but somewhere deep down he’d hoped things would move on, start changing. Today, things weren’t any different. He felt more ignored than usual, if that was even possible; the new chapter in math class seemed harder; Ms. Kwan had been on his back all English class. Nothing had changed, really, but the day seemed a little bit worse, a little bit harder than the day before. He wanted his friends back, wanted Jimmy to have his legs back, wanted to be better at school, just wanted---

Spinner jumped at the sound of a beeping car behind him. Just what he needed: something else he couldn’t have.

Jay pointed to the empty shotgun seat beside him. “Need a ride?”

Spinner walked over and got in the car more out of habit than out of will. He sat there not saying anything, staring straight ahead. He hated these lifts home from Jay. Being too close to Jay, Jay’s hand barely touching Spinner’s leg when he changed gears, it was too much for him.

“You alright?” Jay asked.

“Yeah, dude. Just get me out of here, okay? Had a shitty day. I don’t feel like seeing anyone.”

Jay didn’t reply. He turned the car back into the traffic and drove. Jay got things. That’s one thing Spinner couldn’t complain about. He always knew when not to push things, didn’t need things to be explained to him. There was no talking. There was no music playing. There was just Jay driving and him looking out the car window at the buildings zooming by. Gradually, the buildings became trees. Spinner’s eyes turned toward Jay and came to a stop on Jay’s mouth. Damn the guy had lips. Kissable lips, really. Fuckable lips.

“Spin, you’re staring at me.”

Spinner turned his head around and faced forward, once again staring straight ahead.

Jay veered onto a dirt road that was actually more of a trail than a road. He stopped the car and sat there. Not a word. Not a move.

“Sorry, man, don’t know where else to go,” Jay said with an even tone, not bothering to look at Spin.

“This is fine,” Spinner answered.

Jay’s fingers started drumming a beat on the wheel. Spinner had seen Jay doing that before. It wasn’t a steady beat; it was uneven and erratic. It was Jay’s beat. Spinner looked at Jay’s fingers moving in no particular order. Up, down, up down; slow, fast, slow again.

Jay was nervous. His own fucked up shitty day didn’t seem to be getting any better. They were in the middle of nowhere. There was no music, no talking, no sound, except Spinner’s soft breathing right beside him and his own fingers tapping nervously on the wheel. He didn’t dare look over at Spinner. He’d probably end up doing something stupid if he did. If he looked over and saw Spinner’s limp mohawk, he’d probably touch it or do something equally idiotic. Maybe he’d see Spinner’s leg and grab it, run his hand up it until he reached Spin’s dick. So he wasn’t going to look at Spinner. The silence was starting to get to him though, and he couldn’t take the mental image of his hand on Spinner’s dick out of his mind.

“Fuck it,” he mumbled and reached over to Spinner’s groin. Spinner’s breathing hitched, but he didn’t try to stop Jay. His hand hovered over Jay’s as if wanting to stop him but not actually doing it. Jay replaced his own hand by Spinner’s and watched Spinner close his eyes and swallow as he touched himself through his jeans. Jay could see Spinner getting hard in and it made his own jeans feel tight. Spinner was starting to breathe heavily. Jay leaned over to undo Spin’s pants. He reached under the fabric of Spin’s boxers and grasped Spinner’s hard cock in his hand. Jay swiped his thumb over Spinner’s leaking cockhead. Spinner caught his breath and released it slowly. Jay moved up and down steadily, loving the feel of his hand gliding over Spinner’s smooth cock. Spinner’s hand came to rest on his, coaxing him to go faster. Spinner kept his eyes closed and let out a small moan. Jay kept moving up and down with a quick rhythm, and Spinner’s mouth opened a bit as he threw his head back. Jay was having trouble resisting the urge to touch his own achingly hard cock. He could feel Spinner already close to the edge. He slid his hand under Spin’s balls, cupping them, and found that spot behind them—

“Jay!“ Spinner grabbed Jay’s wrist strongly. His body went still. Spinner came, letting out a low groan, covering Jay’s hand in come.

Spinner sat back trying to catch his breath, and he swallowed dryly. What the fuck had that been? His heart was racing. He opened his eyes and couldn’t look at Jay, who was reaching behind his seat for something, most likely something to wipe off on. Spinner buttoned up his pants while Jay started the car again and headed back for the city. This time the silence was awkward. Spinner finally looked at Jay as they were coming into the city. He was driving fast and seemed to concentrate a bit too deeply on the road. He had put on his sunglasses and was biting his lower lip, which was something Spinner had never seen him do before. Spinner wanted to kiss those lips more than ever.

“Spin, you’re staring at me,” Jay said.

“Yeah, care to explain what that was?”

“Said you were having a shitty day. So was I. Figured it couldn’t get any worse,” Jay answered simply.

Spinner smiled and nodded as he looked back out the window. Jay definitely got things.
